Shawnee Country Club is truly a special place, a place where old and new friends meet and gather, a place where special memories are made.
Shawnee Golf and Country Club was founded in the early 1920’s by members as a 9 hole course. Nine additional holes were built when the club assets were purchased in 1997, and in 2010 a new resort style pool facility was built adjacent to the clubhouse.
Derek Claborn serves as the Head Golf Professional, and he is the only PGA Professional in Shawnee. He is willing and able assist you in transporting your golf game to the next level. In addition to private lessons, Forrest offers fundamental camps for children and instructional camps for women.
Shawnee Country Club has a storied golf tradition. Annually we host the oldest amateur golf tournament in the state of Oklahoma. The Oil Valley Championship has been contested since 1928. Head Superintendent Larry Taylor maintains Shawnee Country Club’s featured attraction, a majestic 18-hole, Par 71, well manicured golf course stretching 6,851 yards.
Off the course, please join us for a fine dining experience in The Club Restaurant. Chef Marie has our members in agreement, our mouthwatering menu will not leave you wanting. In addition to lunch and dinner, The Club Restaurant can accommodate private dinner parties and social functions up to 150 people.
